Exactly every genre been "formularized" within the same model. Top 10 rock songs, top 10 dance, top 10 country, top 10 rap songs, etc. all basically sound the same. The same within the genre, and even to a point across them.
I caught an MTV "Top 10 rundown" and 8 out of the 10 songs had almost identical vocal, pitch, "sound treatment" processing.

I like alOt of the newer artists. Easton Corbin, Jason Aldean. Of course I'm over 13 and figured out long ago that you can appreciate things for what they are even if it changes. Obviously, people are buying a lot of it. I enjoy music though and not much of a self proclaimed music snob or critic.
