Also, OPS is the barometer for this thread, steroids or not. They were facing guys like Kevin Brown, Roger Clemens, and Eric Gagne that were clearly as big of science projects as anybody.

It's not all about HR's. It's overall production. Bonds out produced Jr. in every single major statistical category. More RBI, HR's, walks, steals, hits, batting average, MVP's, slugging pct.

Don't forget Pedro, Mussina, Pettite, Greg Maddux, Tim Hudson, John Smoltz, and Tom Glavine. It's not like they were facing poor pitching by any stretch of the imagination.

Yep, people hate him because of the way he handled the media. I'd be pissed too if I was asked stupid questions all the time.

Majority was white. baseball has and always will be a majority white. You can't exclude guys from a list just because they didn't play against blacks.

He wouldn't be in here anyway, but same principle applies. Can't judge with those guys IMO. Much bigger factor than steroid use on performance when you don't play against the best.

Majority is different than absolute. I didn't say those guys weren't good, just that they don't belong in this discussion. There are plenty of minorities in baseball, a very large percentage.
