Majority is different than absolute. I didn't say those guys weren't good, just that they don't belong in this discussion. There are plenty of minorities in baseball, a very large percentage.

More Latinos than anything, but that shouldn't determine who was great or not.

The fact I've seen Ty Cobb mentioned 3 times in this thread shows the fail.
I'll take Cobb over Ruth any day. Cobb did it all and pretty much invented intimidation. Plus he was a complete doucher

Comparing players of early eras like that is really difficult. They played the game when guys would have 2nd jobs in the offseason and didn't train year round for the sport.
