iPhone5 unveiled.

I don't see why its a tough decision. Andoird obviously has the better, more powerful phones on the market. I honestly do not see a difference between the iPhone and android markets. Its pretty much the same thing. I do like how Android seems to have a lot of really good free apps.

    All of thats debateable though.

    Idk, maybe I'm overthinking everything.

I don't really see what the difference is between the App stores either. Apple charges for a lot of apps that are free on Android.

  • It really depends on how much you use your phone and what exactly you use it for. Me, I do everything on my phone. I rarely touch my iMac.

Market wise, apple is super strict on what they allow so apps are better developed. That's also why android has a ton more apps on their market.

If you're only using your phone for little things like games and internet, iPhone is probably your best bet.

I web surf all day Every day on my Note. Much more convenient than on my iPhone. Better browser options, larger screen, faster...

My wife actually said last night that she is glad that android's Facebook app was better than iPhones. Like I said, she switched about a month ago to the HTC One X.

I guess in not understanding what you are saying. "Better made".

  • I think the majority of people over complicate or just enjoy splitting hairs. It's not just about tech stats. The iPhone and the better android phones are similar. To me it boils down to function. I've had an iPhone for the past five years and have grown comfortable with the software as well as the phone itself. Have to say though, as far as quality goes, it seems the iPhone is just flat out better. I'm sure everyone knows someone who was thoroughly disgusted with their android. Constant shut downs to reboots. In my experiance its harder to find someone who has or has had an iphone that doesnt like it or has a problems with their phone. The iPhone is just not as volatile.

  • Ive had every Iphone since they started and have a few friends with droids. I personally would never switch but the ones that never had an iphone seem to like the droid. My point if you havent had one or the other long enough your most likley going to stick with what you know etc. Either way I prefer the iphone all the way

Every single phone thread turns into the Android/Apple debate. Everyone isn't going to like the same thing. I had an Android before the iPhone and hated it.

I'm not sure how I like the 5 yet though. I hope it isn't that much longer.

  • Every Android I've owned was glitchy as hell and had terrible battery life. I've never had a more polished phone than the iphone 4. That being said, I'm not overly impressed with the 5 so far, but I will stick with iphone on my next upgrade. The cloud syncing from my ipad is another plus that I like. Everyone is going to like something different.

I agree with 100% of what's being said here. The solid feel, excellent screen, and itunes integration are hard to beat.

Plus the user friendly format that iPhone uses. It's almost glitch free and is so easy to use. I think that is where apple wins, they make sleek phones with aesthetically pleasing graphics and great user friendliness. You can't beat it.

uh that is actually a good thing. you find a bug, you can report it, or you recommend an enhancement they will recompile the change into the next release if it is prominent. this allows the user base to actively improve the product. its AOSP, Android Open Source Project. The entire world can build from source code.

You have to remember that Android source is compatible with seriously thousands of devices. Not one build of the source will work like iOS, where you have less than 10 devices. As a result, Android must deliver thousands of builds, this takes much much more people. And Google made it open source so the entire source code is free (for the most part)

Additionally, if you actually think Apple doesn't have a bug list with iOS, you are ignorant. iOS builds look exactly like what you're seeing in your link. It's just that iOS is proprietary and obviously the source is owned by Apple, so you don't see all the bugs and issues they have.

What can those phones do that iPhones can't? Serious question because I'm a person who doesn't need much out of my phone. I'm just curious.

Well to start, Android has being doing things at least two years ago and Apple is just starting to do it. Here are a couple of vids. These are a couple of months old when they came out, so maybe Apple has gotten up to date!

Android Vs iOS The Truth about Apple and G...

After using an iPhone for 30 days, I realized that Android has a much more polished UI and more intuitive features. Things were much more difficult to do on the iPhone then they were on Android. This is the reason why I created this video series. I want to show the flexibility on Android compared to iOS. I love technology and enjoy using Google, Apple, Asus, Samsung, and many other gadgets out there.
