  • ROFFLMAO. He can go there for all I care. No one writes more checks with their mouth that their ass can't cash than Rex Ryan. Go get 'em Kentucky.

  • He might actually be a good college head coach. His style isn't really a good fit for the business like NFL. His personality could rub off on college kids knowing Ryan will have their back.

If not, he could always go back to being a DC.

  • It's not actually as crazy as it sounds. He started his coaching career at Eastern Kentucky (which is 20 minutes from Lexington) and coached for 3 seasons at Morehead State (about an hour from Lexington). His dad, Buddy Ryan, Lives in Shelbyville, KY (which is 45 minutes from Lexington) has been sick and gets all his treatments at the UK hospital. Also his mother is in a nursing home in Louisville (which is an hour from Lexington). He is familiar with the state of Kentucky and if he gets fired like most think, he is most likely either going to end up with a NFL Defensive Coordinator job, Television job, or a college coaching job. If he comes to Kentucky he will likely make over 3 million dollars, be close to his parents, and coach in the best conference, the SEC. I don't think it will happen, but I think Kentucky should go after him.

Those are all very good and logical points of why he would go to Kentucky.

  • Maybe they meant Matt Ryan - since the whole VP thing didn't work out
