m*chigan's story about "Major NCAA violations"

"U-M’s punishment from the infractions committee could be stepped up because the NCAA considers the school a repeat violator. U-M has that status because of the Ed Martin basketball scandal. The NCAA alleged that football violations started within a five-year window of the basketball case. Rodriguez was hired in December 2007. February’s notice of allegations from the NCAA charged that U-M’s violations started in January 2008. "

I can't believe this. This really shows how m*chigan and the word integrity are polar opposites. I'd say the odds of m*chigan getting through this repulsive act without severe punishment is 26 to 21...smh

  • Lets be serious when these kids are getting money it's cash, boosters aren't stupid enough to be writing cheques, and I would hope the kids aren't stupid enough to deposit the cash.

Rule sounds good, but won't accomplish anything. But lets be serious I don't think tOSU is going to be doing anything to sketchy the next couple years anyway.

  • Sorry for overstretching. We are embarrassed and promise to not let it happen again.

  • Good post. While I certainly don't condone violating rules of any magnitude, I feel that gaining a competitive advantage from extra practice time is a more serious offense than selling your own property for money or trade. Hopefully this keeps some of the scUM people in glass houses from throwing rocks. Somehow I doubt it though. For those people, you just have to say 26-21 and 10 of the last 12.

This post was supposed to be in the tOSU getting serious thread, no idea how it ended up in this thread.
