does anybody know how to burn them on a mac? i've been trying to do it with toast 9 titanium, but it keeps failing me.
theres sites on the inet that tell you to download their programs, but i dont really trust those.

I use them all the time for Plex, but no clue how to burn them. You could use HandBrake to convert them to MP4s or something else of you can't burn them just as MKVs.

You can get as much quality as you want with it. Super versatile.

I had the same exact problem last week on PC. Googled the issue, downloaded some file conversion software, and downloaded some codecs for Windows Media Player. I can either convert the file to .MP4 or watch it as .MKV thanks to the codec download.

That's what I was trying to do: stream to my Xbox. I download my movies from www.kat.ph. I only download the ones that are 720p or HD. Quality is great.

i could stream it to my xbox with WMC, but since i got rid of my Windows partition of my mac i dont think that is possible anymore. the xbox wont recognize the mkv file when i put it on my eHD.

You're right. That's why I download the HD files and convert them to .MP4 if necessary.

If you want to watch it on your Xbox, screw burning it, just go download serviio. Stream the mkv straight to it.

I found the presets to the right and changed them and got the same quality as my original HD mkv. I did high quality this test which made an m4v, well see if the Xbox will play that off my external HD.

I realized about a week ago that you don't have to connect to WMC to stream to xbox.

Serviio is java so it runs on pretty much anything, and yes they have a Mac installer. I haven't tried plex, can't say how it compares, but serviio has served pretty much every video I've ever tried, to my ps3, 360, and dlna tv and bluray player. It is fantastic.

well the xbox is being gay. it wont play my m4v nor mp4 of the movie i converted, yet it'll play an m4v i have of the tOSU vs Wisky game. downloading serviio as i type.

Serviio is working, awesome. Only issue is some movies won't let me fast forward nor rewind :(
