You have no clue what you're talking about. Obama has spent more money than Bush did in 8 years, so fail again. Keep it up.

No he didn't. Who are you, Mitt Romney?

I didn't say that, but they should be deported. The exception being those in the military.

where? How do we round them up? What do we do about the jobs they do that no one else in America would do for the wages they get?

    A) Spending <> sucking. That is one thing I will give credit to the GOP. They are the Kaiser Soze of the political world. They've convinced Americans that deficit/debts are our #1 problem. They're not even close, and seemed to half convice people that debts caused our economic problems, when it was gross under regulation at the investment bank level, under-regulation in mortgage lending, and irresponsible people taking advantage of all that that crap.

    B) Do you people understand the concept of "Discretionary" vs. "Non-Discretionary"?

    C) Do you understand that he got a $1.4T Deficit from the 43rd President of the United States, and an economy that was shrinking by a monstrous 8%, and a jobs market that was shedding almost a MILLION jobs a month? You realize what that does to a recenue system that relies on tax receipts I'd hope?

“Even someone born and raised in Albertville may not have the necessary skills or be able to pass a background check,” said Frank Singleton, a spokesman for Wayne Farms, which owns the slaughterhouse. The firm held a job fair that attracted about 250 local residents, but few were hired, and some soon quit, daunted by the demanding work. Since the law took effect, he said, “our turnover rate has gone through the roof.”

    ---

Nevertheless, a variety of employers in Alabama said they have not been able to find enough legal residents to replace the seasoned Hispanic field pickers, drywall hangers, landscapers and poultry workers who fled the state. There was an initial rush of job applications, they said, but many new employees quit or were let go.

It is obvious you have no knowledge of how economics of the US federal budget works. That is 100% obvious because you are 100% wrong.

For the sake of argument, just say that you are correct in that it is all Obama doing the spending, that he doesn't have to pay Medicare, social security, defense, and interest on debt (which is not set by him and he has little control over, and takes up almost 2/3 of federal spending)
Set all that aside, your argument that he has spent more than any President in history is not factually correct.

The source is Wikipedia, only because it is easily read and it has all numbers and sources in one place. The numbers check out with other websites.

Total federal spending authorized by President Bush: $20.4 trillion
Total federal spending authorized by President Obama: $14.9 Trillion

That is the frustrating thing about politics these days. There are many quality criticisms of Obama, but having a measured discussion about his ups and downs is next to impossible because of the ridiculous, hyperbolic attacks.

Exactly. I have my criticisms of him to be sure, but it is frustrating to talk to someone else when they go into the conversation assuming he is the worst president of all time.

I have not noticed any substantial differences during his 3.5 years in office. No reason to believe another 4 would be different. If anything, things have marginally improved.

By pretty much every economic metric we are in a MUCH better place now, than we were 4 years ago. That is fact, not political slant. Aka reality.

How so? Please enlighten me and provide some evidence for this statement.

The fact of the matter is that the recession started before Obama took office and has simply continued under his stewardship. However, it'd be absolutely delusional to think that any person could fix the U.S.' numerous problems in a mere 4 years, much less a person who Congress is deadset on railroading into ineffectiveness. Things haven't gotten much better, but they have gotten better.

However, stuff like this isn't helping:

Which numbers would those be? GDP? Employment? Corporate profits? Stock Exchange? Consumer Confidence? Consumer Spending? Sales?

Please enlighten me on which economic metric - most of which we've been using for decades to which means Presidents of both parties - is "slanted".

Or you can just admit you're wrong, and say you don't like Obama because he's a democrat, as opposed to economic and social change he's supposedly engineered.
