Do yourself a favor and when you go to napa or where ever you are going to a winery at, stop at a fruit stand and get some cherries. If you aren't from California.....or gotten them there, you've never had any like that.

Sour Dough Bread and Dungeness Crabs in San Fran.. Om nom nom nom.. That was fantastic eating for sure.

If you get them when they are in season, which is about March-July (still good the rest of the year though), they are huge and purple. Just amazing, IMO.

Chicago: Italian Beefs
Wisconsin: Bluegill fish fry
Phoenix: Mexican with hatch chilies, Richardsons(dont know if they rebuilt after the fire)
San Diego: Fish Tacos
New Orleans: Blacken catfish with crawfish etouffe
Tampa: Grouper Sandwich
Annapolis: Cream of crab and corn soup
New York: Italian
Texas: Brisket for sure
Columbia: BoJangles and Lizards thicket (not a particular food, but memories)
Indianapolis: Pork Tenderloin Sammy
Louisville: Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Ale (thats a food group)
Michigan: Walleye
Anywhere in South: breakfast. I dont eat it often cause i like all the bad stuff, but can you beat grits with salt/pepper , lots of butter and crumbled bacon, biscuits and gravy and country ham
