I stick to Sam Adams Boston Lager and seasonal brews because they are so widely available. I do think Hopslam is the greatest beer ever though.

Anyone else had Cable Car? It's pretty good and for a great price ($12 a twelve pack).

Brits is great in the summer. Head there occasionally in the winter. I live about a block up Nicolette on the Greenway (bike/walking thoroughfare). They've got lawn bowling in the summer and a couple tiers of bars (outside deck) on top of the inside two stories. I could see where people think that the winter's get a bit long, but it's all about getting outside and enjoying it. I love the cold. I love to ski, winter camp, snowshoe, etc. If you stay indoors all winter I could imagine it getting VERY long. Moving here from Nebraska, I would have to say the thing that stood out most to me is Minnesotans take advantage of the seasons, unlike my brethren in Neb. Once it gets nice out, everyone is outside. It's quite amazing, actually. The parks and lakes are literally filled with people enjoying the outdoors. Jogging, canoeing, kayaking, kiteboarding, sailing, hanging out, picnicking, you name it. It's awesome. I really like it here.

Well said. I thought the same thing about Minnesota during the times I have visited.

Well, in my experience, other beers in this range/profile are roughly $7-9 a six pack. Beers such as Stella, Blue Moon, Sam Adams, etc.

I drank about 5 or 6 liters of Bells Two Hearted a few days after I got back from South America (where I wasn't doing a ton of drinking the last two months). Let me just say that it didn't end well. Be careful.

oh damn. I totally misread that, thought it was $12 for a sixer. $12 for a half case is very much doable now that my bud is close to that. I do have a gas station next to me that picked up PBR four packs for $2.99, verrrrrrry hard to beat.

The Southern Tier Unearthly and Gemini is awesome. Around 12% ABV, it will do some work on you.

Never had those. Had their IPA which was downright badass but if Tuscaloosa didnt just carry Natty and Bud Light then I would definitely pick some up tonight
