Totally unrelated question in regards to my previous one: Anyone in here ever built a kegerator? I'm a big fan of DIY and saving money (at least trying to) and I've been looking at this Sanyo 4912 mini-fridge-to-kegerator retrofit. Can hold 2 corny kegs. Wondering if anyone has done something similar and can comment further on the actual cost of the project.

I'm intrigued by all of these Sanyo 4912M conversions I've seen. The mini-fridge when converted holds 2 corny kegs and a 5lb tank of CO2. Apparently they used to be easy to find used back when all these posts I've seen were made (2009 or earlier) but I haven't seen any used ones and they still retail for ~$300. I'm going to do some measuring and figure out another mini-fridge worth using that can also fit 2 kegs and a dual tap tower. Fridge aside, what all hardware did you use? I keep seeing Perlick as THE brand for faucets.

I think perlick is just the style of faucet. That is what I used though.
This is the faucet that I used. http://www.williamsbrewing.com/PERLICK-FORWARD-SEAL-FAUCET-WITH-SHANK-P1476C65.aspx
This is what I used on the front door of the fridge. I have 3 faucets so I had to buy 3 of these. http://www.williamsbrewing.com/4-STAINLESS-SHANK-ASSEMBLY-P1064C114.aspx

I picked up a 6-pack of Dale's when we were in ATL for family Christmas, and it was delish. I'm want to try their other beers.
