    Yea I'm about to sign back up to a gym. I quit paying when I wasn't taking it seriously. Decided to start without going and do stuff at home (run/walk, jump rope, push-ups and sit-ups, playing basketball).

    focus on lifting hard, and ending your workouts with a short burst high intensity conditioning session. Like a barbell complex. Do cardio later on down the road. Hard lifting + staying generally active most of the day will give you far better results than focusing on cardio

    Hit gym, eat well(veggies, chicken, fish), take creatine and protein after workout. Do that for about a year and you'll get where you want to be. A year ago I was 6'3 225#, got down to 185 with diet and cardio. Started gym 3-4 days a week and have now added 20# muscle to a pretty solid 205. Another year and I should really be getting somewere.

  • Just got buy a Redline Energy Drink in the morning. You can basically make Meth with that drink. Drink it in the morning and you'll be "up" all day and not hungry.

    Anyways, I haven't drank one of those in forever because I don't need to lose weight so I've been out of the loop on weight loss crap for a few years.

    Squats 225x5, 275x5, 315x5, 335x5, 365x3 (I think I might have bitched out by not goin for 5, but that 3rd rep was tough.

    speed squats 2x185x5

    Rumanian deadlift 225x8, 275x8, 275x8 (grip seemed to be the hardest part)

    1 leg step ups, 10,8,6,4,2. Reps each side done continuously with no rest

    leg extensions 2 sets to failure
    leg curls 2 sets to failure.

    Each supplement is different. And no, its not the end of the world if you miss a day or two. I take creatine daily, and whey protein after workouts. Drinking and smoking aren't going to help you make progress, but hard work definetly will overcome these as long as you get to the gym 3-4 times a week and eat the occasional fruit or vegetable.

    No yea. I get the staying true to the diet and workout. I meant health-wise. I know to skip a day if I want to drink with a thermo like oxyelite, but what about weed. I don't know anything about it. The THC and stuff.

    Incline press 185x10, 225x10, 245x8. Nursing a pec strain so have to take it a bit easy

    db bench press 20 second speed sets 1 with 70 lb db's, 2nd with 60. burned out on the 2nd set at 18 seconds.

    machine chest press very slow reps (5 seconds up 7 seconds down) 2 sets

    chest ball throws with sprinting after it, 10 throws

    bitched out on my plyo pushup work, due to my pec strain.

    just balance, living life with your fitness goals. Of course not drinking or smoking is going to be better for you. But unless you are a professional athlete, not worth giving up all the good things in life. Just find your own balance.
