I'm not even a huge basketball fan yet I know that is flat stupidity.

The Dream Team is still known as THE Dream Team for a reason.

You realize Lebron is bigger than Barkley and Pippen, and about the same size as Malone. Ewing was only 6'9". Robinson would be difficult matchup. Dream Team bigs would have a hell of time tryin to guard guys like Lebron, Melo, and Durant. This isnt the mismatch people think.

He was listed at 7, but many of his peers said he was really closer to 6'9". He was probably in between. I probably shouldnt have put that. Regardless, his go to move was a fall away jumper. I dont think the dream team could afford to play him and robinson at the same time. Defensively, they would not be able to guard. Especially if this is played in FIBA rules

More athletic? Yes. Better basketball players? No.

Basketball IQ has went down quite a bit over the last decade especially. The fundamentals have been replaced by pure athleticism. Teamwork, rebounding(especially on the offensive end) and basketball IQ would help the Dream Team pull away late in the game. I would say 14 or 15 point victory, and the dream team having a +25 rebounding performance is the reason.

Oh, and 33 year old Kobe wouldn't even start on the Dream Team. To say he is better than everyone but Jordan is way off. 29 year old Kobe? Yes. Prime Clyde Drexler > 33 year old Kobe imo.

I know it's exhibition but the dream team beats Argentina today by way more than 6.

To be fair the 92 team never played anyone worth a shit. The Argentinian team is full of actual NBA players

Oh, and chandler/Davis(hasn't played a second in the NBA is better than Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing.

Always seemed to me like they did it for the spectacle of the whole thing. They wanted it to be a tour showcasing how great they were. Just my take.

The 08 and 12 teams seem a lot more focused on winning the gold. Just my opinion.

Not to mention, the world has gotten better at basketball - much better. I have no tolerance fro those who wish to argue generational sports. Athletes as a rule push the boundaries of what has been done prior to them so to say that scoring 20 a game in '92 is equal to now has absolutely no merit. I'm not saying that the '92 squad wouldn't win, I'm saying that to say with absolute certainty they would, is shortsighted at best.

Meh... Give me the dream team... seems like people forget how good Barkley actually was....Honestly if there was any person I could choose to guard Lebron it would be Pippen... Jordan is by far a better defender and for that matter overall player than Kobe... and The Center position on the Dream team outclasses this one by a mile... Give me the Dream Team and I could win against this ReDream teem 80% of the time.... I honestly think The B-Team could give this Team a run for their money(I know some of the players are the same).... This team is star studded great athletic team but the Dream team was just the most concentrated amount of talent on one court that you could possibly have outside of NBA Live...
