He was my first choice of the listed potential candidates a ways back. The only reason I'm annoyed is the 40 wasted days while he's been at Temple. I guess Chiz wanted an NFL guy and struck out... otherwise, the lost time recruiting is killer.

They were gettin funky in those swamps outside of Tally but then again, nobody spends more $$$ on their recruits than the Tigers...the Clemson Tigers that is! If he doesn't go to FSU, I want Darby as far from the ACC as possible.

yeah...we have a kid that visited there this weekend that's been committed since the summer and now he is "pretty committed" and after the tony steward thing last year i gotta think they put out the cashflow

Temple was 116th in passing yards per game, but 7th in rushing. Only had 133 passing attempts all year. I'm sure that was moreso due to limitations at the QB position than preference, though.

I sorta remember him from Michigan football he recruited Drew Henson, Chad Henne, and Ryan Mallett IIRC. Not Old enough to remember any outside of the last three years of Henne and Mallett

i mean, yeah he is probably gonna be a good receiver but he isn't crucial to this class because we have about 4 slot type receivers here already and frankly i am tired of them...i guess "not want him" wasn't the right phrase more like "not as much of a need"

I have to agree. I'm just going to leave it at this post but if you wait this long and it's SL then something went horribly wrong. Chizik is going out on a limb here on this one. Maybe he will turn out to be a lot better than most think, who knows.
