I can't speak for others, but I've worn my sunglasses inside on more than several occasions. The number one reason is that figuratively, the eyes are the gateway to the soul. I don't want people to be able to read me. I don't want people to be able to guage what I'm thinking. I don't want people to know whether or not I'm looking at them, beyond them, or around them. It's just one of those things where you want people in the dark. I know that probably sounds borderline psychotic, but I'm a stoic person. I have to use whatever tricks I can because otherwise, people liken me to an open book and I really don't like being read. When I want you to know what I'm thinking, I'll tell you.

Some of us do it because we left our regular glasses in the car (or house or wherever) and the sunglasses are the only RX pair of glasses you have with you. It is either put on my sunglasses so I can read without getting up close and personal with whatever I'm trying to read, or have someone else read it for me. Choices.

I was standing at a redbox outside of a grocery store and by this time it was almost fully dark and a guy walks in the store with his sun glasses on. It really bothers me to see people that do it but this guy was pulling a double whammy.
