You have a point...some players though are injury prone, and is has nothing to do with that player as an athelete, things happen and seems to happen to some more often. Trent was never injury prone, and maybe Lattimores was just a freak accident. But just like Prothro, Lattimore should not have been in the position he was in during that game. But good luck in the East, i still think yall win it while UGA tries to find their offense early

dude the whole lattimore overburdened stuff was nonsense perpetuated by national reporters who don't follow the team closely
lattimore was injured when he was downfield blocking after a mississippi state player rolled into his leg from behind causing his knee to get caught awkwardly

USC has better OL and DL than Georgia, but UGA has (much) easier schedule
With Lattimore back 100%, USC will be favored to win when they play each other.
Gamecocks are 6-0 against UGA, Tennessee, and Florida the past two years.
And also 3-0 in last three against Clemson.
Recruiting better than ever, with millions going into infrastructure improvements (numerous stadium and facilities upgrades).
With Spurrier Era in full effect there is different football mentality in Columbia. We now expect to win games.
Obviously I'm biased. But trying to be fair here, I'd set the odds for winning the East at:
UGA - 45% USC - 35%. Field - 20%

Great post whether I agree or not. Richt lost his swag and claims to have it back. Spurrier has swag by the truck load, my second favorite coach of all time.
I still think UGA wins. UGA's defensive front seven will put your Latt at 100% and USC's OL being great claims to the test.

They claimed Latt wouldnt get what he got last year after the game two years ago. Sure he is coming back from an injury, but everything we have heard is he is way ahead of schedule and is cutting with no problems. Just gotta see what happens when he takes that first live hit

I don't think anyone can comprehend how filthy Clowney is going to be this year now that he actually has a clue to what he is supposed to do. That will make Taylor(already a top 10 DE in country) that much better, as well as Kelcy Quarles.
The big if, is can Connor stay healthy with his playing style? He started to figure it out after the Florida game and got into his comfort zone. No chance he can be a pro player but can be a very very effective college player.
Im guess 10-2 or 9-3. Winning at LSU is net to impossible, winning at swamp is a bear, Arky has had our number for 10 years, UGA is stout, and even our lesser games are against UTK, CU, Missou dont either of those three will beat us at home without us having stephen garcia to turn it over 4 times in 5 series like he was prone to doing, but not a huge stretch to say we could lose one of those

I have all the respect for LAT...a stand up kid..I hope he comes back as close to 100% as he can....yes its been 2 yrs in a row..about the same time we changed our D completely. When you you a 3-4 you have to have time to get the right players. not the same players as needed for a 4-3
