which true frosh do you expect from your team?

  • Will get to start or get lot of minutes in rotation...
-i don't think fsu really has any but from what i here pender is our best rb already and if anything will challenge for spot number 2. Goldman may be rotating in on the dline answer christo can get some time at TE but no freshman all American minutes i don't think. O and bracey will most likely return kicks.

  • Bama always has at least one LB contribute early. They won't start but they end up playing. Dillon Lee and Reggie Ragland could be it.

Also Landon Collins. Should work his way onto ST's and will get PT on D as soon as he learns and shows that he understands the defense

I think Jovon Robinson (big RB) will get a lot of playing time. I think he will be our best power back by the end of the season. I think Cassanova McKinzy could play a good bit at MLB for us this year. I'm just not that sold on Jake Holland.

I just like to throw out facts to this board. Someone has to put facts on here sometimes.

If he comes in this summer in shape and ready to work I wouldn't be surprised to see him play in game 1. We just don't have a power back in our RB stable right now since Dyer left. RB is a spot true freshman can start at pretty easily also.

amari cooper will be in the top 3 or 4 rotation at WR in addition to ichys post

I know we've been hearing that he will be in the rotation but I think White, Norwood, Bell, and Jones are ahead of him.

Makes you wonder what Woodson and Shinn are doing after they've had over a year to learn the playbook and be in the S&C system only to let an EE beat them out.

That could also speak volumes about Cooper though.

Corey Grant? He has but still will never be a true power back. I think Tre Mason is our starter right now.

I agree with you. Bolden already has the size/speed/coaching needed to play MLB or WLB. Pipkins, while a big boy, will be going against men 2-4 years older who have been in a college weight room for all those years. Pipkins will play, but I am not expecting a huge impact.

On offense, Kyle Kalis will see the field at guard, Funchess and Williams at TE, Darboh or Chesson at WR, but the impact freshman I expect to have a big impact is Norfleet. His quickness and speed will force the coaches to get him the ball in space. I also think he will be part of the KR/PR units also.

Really gotta find a way to get him running downhill, tho. Not sure what type of scheme Loeffler will install, but he's definitely not a spread type RB

Blakely. Mason is probably the closest thing we have to a power back right now. None of our guys can move a pile though IMO. OMac goes down if a blade of grass faces the wrong way and his shoe string clips it. Reports say that Blakely is just having a tough time with all the new stuff and doing all the stuff outside of actually running the ball. Corey Grant I really don't know about. He seems to have a lot of hype from our fanbase but that seems to happen with all former Bama recruits/players (Don't mention Melvin Ray). So I tend to stay away from predicting those guys. Mason played a decent amount last year and is pretty solid. He's got some speed on him too. He's one of our KR... I don't know if he has that power though. Dyer seemed to be the only guy that could pick up that 1st on 3rd and 2. Him and Frazier I guess. Without Dyer I don't see a true power guy at RB. Jovon has a great opportunity to fill that need.

I don't expect him to start the season there, but I think he will see the field vs AF and UMass, and then eventually be starting in the second half of the season.

I expect Mealer, a 5th year sr. to start the season, or Bryant, a RS Fr. Bryant was a 4*, 340 road grader that is still working on his pass blocking.

Yea, I remember Mason returning kicks. He housed one or two I believe.

Didnt really know who Jovon Robinson was but makes sense as far as goal line situations go as well.

Mason could be your starter and you might use Robinson situationally until he shows he's ready for more responsibility

That's why I think he will play a ton. Loeffler seems to want to get away from the HUNH spread to a more of a mix between a true pro and HUNH spread. At Temple he ran a decent amount of two TE sets that were a pound the ball type offense. I think he will keep some of the spread though just becasue that is where most of our talent is at.

I was about to say. I got all bug eyed in excitement at the thought of a kid fresh out of high school playing against us.

Is Bryant still at 340? I can't imagine he would be playing at that weight
