Belmont over G-Town

Belmont was a great team two years ago to have, but then a ton of people took them again last year and they fell flat.

I think you are going to see a ton of people go VCU, but I don't think they have it this year even though they are playing Wichita State. I just think that when you see two midmajors together it is easy to take a double digit seed there. New Mexico State looked damn good in their tournament for sure and mssing Jones could make that happen. VCU/NMSt 2nd round wouldn't shock me, but I think both make it from the first round and I would have Wichita over Indiana.
Vandy has lost 3 of their last 4 first round matchups, but I think they are playing well enough to win at least one game.

My pick will be Long Beach State if Larry Anderson is healthy. I will have to wait until the last minute to see this. No one is scared of them because of their ugly style but I think USF beats Cal and then beats Temple and then they beat Ohio U in the 2nd round. They have 2 very good guards at OU that will be tough to beat.

I thought it was mandated you had to pick whoever is playing Wisconsin. The bracket hasn't been out 24 hours and media types are already taking Montana. Just like Belmont last year. We have our warts, but have only lost once in the first round under Ryan.

How about a No.15 in Detroit when they take on Kansas? Ray McCallum Jr. is no joke and almost committed to Kansas, until he decided to play for his father. I don't think they'l lose to Kansas, but their front court matches up okay against the likes of Thomas Robinson and Co. That is not to say Robinson wont' have a monster game, but if McCallum can force Tyshawn Taylor to turn the ball over several times down the stretch, this one is close...
