Thinking long-term, it was pretty easy. He's not only an elite player but now has improved at such a steep trajectory, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he becomes the No. 1 pick in the draft someday.
His size, graceful athleticism and complement of skills make him about as close to a sure thing as you can have. I don't view him as the kind of player to step in and dominate immediately, but three-four years from now I think he'll be playing terrific basketball at the highest level.

Opinions on him do vary, but I think he'll be a productive four-year center for them. He just doesn't have the kind of game (speed, explosive leaping ability) that will shine consistently in high school, but there's a payoff with guys like that once they play in a college system with attentive guards.
Big guys tend to be more difficult to evaluate generally precisely for that reason. Sometimes, kids who are productive on the travel circuit suddenly blossom in college, and in other cases they remain unproductive. You never know!
