UCONN senior forward Alex Oriakhi has left UCONN and will play his final year of hoops elsewhere due to the Huskies NCAA Tournament ban. Will be able to play right away because of an NCAA rule that allows you to be eligible right away if your current school gets sanctioned. 6-foot-9 240 pound post that can defend and rebound with the best of them? Who wouldn't want that?
ASU's Trent Lockett, a combo-guard and NBA talent is leaving the Sun Devils to play closer to home in Minnesota due to his mother's health. Is a guy when healthy can really fill it up. Was hurt for parts of this season and a big reason why ASU won less than 10 games this season.
Gil Biruta ofa 6-foot-8 SO forward from Rutgers who averaged 9 points his first two years at RU will also leave the program.
A few big names are out there for other programs to take.

USC:
Larry Lewis de-committed and re-classify with 2013. Also Alexis Moore and Curtis Washington have asked for and been granted their releases from USC. Kevin O'Neill doing a bang up job out here.. smh

Evan Smotriz (sp) is transferring from Michigan.
Yancy is like kudzu. You hate it, can't kill it, and is virtually worthless!

If we had Oriahki, we might be a contender next year. All those freshmen really grew up. We just need a big man that doesn't flop when a 63 pound guard tries to block his shot and that can play all games without a multi-game suspension.
Here's guessing Oriahki isn't interested in Bama basketball, but I can hope...
