Should be Beilein in my bias opinion.
Took a team led by a freshman PG to a B1G title.
He got the most out his team in the league, and won a B1G title. If he isn't COY it's a sham IMO.
Crean 2nd.

Should be Beilein, but I would accept Crean as well. Both teams outperformed expectations by a large margin.

Beilein and Izzo make good cases for coach of the year and I'd feel a good candidate won. Obviously rooting for Beilein, but Izzo is a great coach and I have tremendous respect for him, despite my feelings for State.
I felt this Big Ten title was OSU's to lose this year, and they under performed a bit, so I'd have Matta out of the running.

Crean had the biggest turnaround of any program. Beat three teams ranked in the top 5 and IU had been horrible the last three years.

Matta was coach of the year in '10 and '06. He doesn't deserve it this year. Michigan was preseason 3, MSU 4 and indiana 9. I can go with any of those.

Has Matta ever done anything worthwhile in the tournament? It's to realize that Matta can't coach, he can just recruit good players that make him look less bad
