He was probably the best they could do, and they probably wanted a coach with head coaching experience.

I mean this guys last 6 years at Illinois they averaged 14 losses a year and made only 3 tourneys with 2 1st round losses and 1 second round loss. I would think you would rather take a shot on a younger guy who may have some more potential.
