The ACC has been a prime culprit within conference realignment, desperately trying to maintain relevance in the BCS while retaining its basketball power. Can it survive?
Fascinating topic. I suspect they will survive. Though I do believe they made a mistake in their 1st raid on the Big East by taking Boston College rather than West Virginia. They should've solidified their Southeastern/football holdings first and foremost. The Northeastern expansion angle was always going to be there for later. I rather suspect they misunderstood the B1G and what they are all about and assumed they were in a race w/ them for the Northeast.. which isn't the case.

BC was a mistake but lol at WVU, no thanks. They were never ever getting an invite to the ACC, just not a good fit.
