Thanks Florida. Now you have given the NCAA reason to put sorry UK in based off of their name
Iowa State becomes a lock with a road win @ West Virginia.
Middle Tennessee just ate it in the Sun Belt semis. 28-5 but double digit losses to Florida (21) and Belmont (15), the only sure tournament teams it faced, and no noteworthy wins. I don't think a 3 point win over Ole Miss will be enough. I wouldn't give it a slot.
Ditto Stony Brook, which just lost in the America East semis.
What to do about St. Mary's, which just got blasted by Gonzaga again.
0 wins against power conference schools. A nine point loss to a really bad Georgia Tech team on a "neutral" floor in St. Mary's home state. One win over the field, the late home win over Creighton. Three wins over rpi 65-100 types (BYU x2, Harvard).
There is very little on the resume to indicate it deserves a slot, but it probably gets one. Pomeroy (21) likes St. Mary's even more than rpi (30) does. I guess that is the power of winning a ton of 100-200 type games and playing only 2 opponents with an rpi over 230.
Out goes UK

Ole Miss just locked up a spot

um yes.. according to Joe Lunardi
Cool Lunardi is trash until mid afternoon tomorrow
Two wins over a 10ish seed Missouri and a fellow bubble team with atrocious losses to South Carolina and Misssissippi State is not a lock, not even close

but you overlook the 25 wins
I care, and the committee should care, about who you beat and who you lost to, not just a bunch of numbers.
If it was up to me, look at Lunardi's bracket right now, I would move St. Mary's out and move Boise St to that spot, and take out Middle Tennessee. Neither of those teams have done anything to earn their bids.
The last two spots would come from Maryland/Virginia/Tennessee and Ole Miss. Maryland would get one and I'm not sure about the last one.
Ole Miss is in
i don't want to get destroyed by Florida like it's going tho
No question about Ole Miss now.
