    - 2012 Irmo (SC) point guard Jordan Roper tells me he will visit VCU unofficially the weekend of June 4th. Roper is getting a little more interest from Georgia Tech of late. Right now it is a Clemson, VCU battle and I would give the slight edge to Clemson but the Rams are making a strong push.

    - 2012 Meadowcreek (GA) wing Tevin Glass has picked up offers from Auburn and Mississippi State in the last few days. Virginia Tech, Central Florida, Stanford, Arkansas, Xavier, Florida State, North Carolina State and Clemson have all been showing more interest in the 6'6 wing of late.

    - Junior College prospect Damontre Edwards of Brevard C.C. in Florida will take an unofficial to College of Charleston the beginning of next week. Arizona State has offered him and LSU is showing strong interest and is on the verge of an offer. Edwards is orginally from the Charleston area and I think a commitment is likely when he is on campus.

    - 2012 forward Brice Johnson of Ediston HS (SC) will not be making any visits in the month of June. Johnson is rated the 73rd best prospect in the class of 2012 by PrepStars in our new 2012 rankings. Clemson, South Carolina, Florida and Georgia Southern have all offered, however with the change in the Florida staff things are very much up in the air and I am not sure he still has the offer. I would consider Johnson a lean to Clemson at the moment but he is playing with CP3 this summer and that could help his stock.

    - I have received strong indications over the past few days that North Carolina State has positioned themselves very well for the services of 247Sports.com 9th rated player in the class of 2012 Rodney Purvis. No word on when Purvis may make another decision but right now based on a few different things I believe the Wolfpack is in good shape.

    - I apologize for being late to the party on this but I have not posted notes in a few days. I did confirm that North Carolina had offered Flowery Mound, Texas wing Marcus Smart last week.

    - 2013 wing B.J. Gladden of Queens Grant (NC) picked up new offers from UNC-Greensboro, East Carolina, Jacksonville and Akron. He will be visiting Xavier next month.

Interesting on Purvis. Apparently he said Tim Fuller was the reason he originally committed to L-Ville. I wonder if any of the wolf pack staff (Gottfried, Lutz, Early,or Mozxley have a previous connection.

  • need more of this on the green board. Thanks William!! keep the info coming!

looks like Gottfried going to be a beast on the recruiting trail. question is, can he coach that talent?
