SEC/Big East Challenge Games Announced

  • I like how the games are on home courts now, not neutral sites.

    Thursday, Dec. 1
    St. John's at Kentucky
    Georgetown at Alabama
    Providence at South Carolina
    Mississippi at DePaul

    Friday, Dec. 2
    Vanderbilt at Louisville
    Florida at Syracuse
    Cincinnati at Georgia
    Auburn at Seton Hall

    Saturday, Dec. 3
    Arkansas at Connecticut
    Pittsburgh at Tennessee
    West Virginia at Mississippi State
    LSU at Rutgers

  • Can't wait!

The UK vs St. John's game should feature a halftime competition between Lavin and Calipari to see who can make the best hypothetical sales pitch while simultaneously styling their hair. I really don't know who the favorite would be. My initial thought is Calipari would have the advantage in the sales pitch, but Lavin has the advantage in hair product. Proceeds would go to charity, of course. peace

Alabama-Georgetown should be an interesting match up. So if you had to call any of these games now who would you go with?

Not sure how well this tournament will work, but my picks:

    Kentucky at home
Alabama, Gtown looks like an NIT team after losing wright and freeman
Providence has some good talent they just didn't play D before--Ed Cooley will change that
Mississippi, only because DePaul Is awful

Louisville for the upset over vandy in the KFC Yum center (still can't believe they named it that) I predict this as the most entertaining game
Florida steals onemon the road at Syracuse. Not sure if I trust UF's young guard duo but theynhave surprised me before
Cincy, guys like Trais Leslie would have helped GA but not there anymore. I think Yhancy Gates is returning for the bearcats, not sure.
Seton Hall, but who gives a crap really

Connecticut, Arkansas looks like a team which will struggle early. Talent is there but young freshman. Better chance to win now since Pelphrey is out.
Pittsburgh, UT is losing Hopson, Harris, and the most important Pearl. They could be really bad. Rematch from the upset last year.
Mississippi State, good athletic team. Really talented but they do have chemistry problems, renardo sydney is so thug.
LSU, Trent Johnson is on the hot seat so they should improve. RU is gonna be really young.

St. Johns @ Kentucky and Florida @ Syracuse will be sick.
