We aren't just committed to college football; we're early enrolling in it.

Lock up y'all's coaches now cause we didn't spend $147M on a basketball arena for nothin
What is happiness? The feeling that power is growing, that resistance is overcome.--Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche
been 9 days... have yet to see a list..
This is the typical delusional thinking of SC fans out here. No self awareness of their place in the world, not to mention in hoops.
I have SC season football tix... I go all game with no mention off hoops...some know their place...
sorry, I don't have pat haden's list. i have faith in the rhodes scholar to make a great hire
usc has a proud basketball tradition with many great players and coaches. and as many ncaa championships as michigan (zero).
usc got screwed many times because only one team from each league was allowed in the season ending tourney
Didn't he hire Oneil?
nope. heisman trophy winner mike garrett was AD when oneil was hired in 6/09. haden became AD in 8/10
I doubt USC will ever be successful in basketball for the same reason IU might ever not be in football.
what's the reason? ND and ucla?
Oh brother. In my lifetime I think that Bibby and Raveling were the only two decent coaches that SC has ever had in charge. If that's true, while both were good, neither were great. I did enjoy watching Bibby's tournament teams.
ok i was too lazy to look... i didnt know if he was there 2 or 3 years
Ummm Michigan won the national championship in 1989. Glen Rice & those guys
Indiana cares so much about basketball that football got put on the back burner, they are trying to change that now. They invested a lot of money and now have the biggest (pretty sure it is) weight room in the Big Ten and redid the stadium. But basketball will always be Indiana. Just like football will always be USC
Everything that Oak said above is true. (Not that he ever lies) IU realized how much revenue they were leaving on the table by not having at least an "average" football program.
Regardless, SC better get their next great coach soon as they got waxed again last night. Mr. Miyagi would be proud at this point.
From the LA Daily News. Is the USC basketball coaching job a plum or a lemon?
COLLEGE BASKETBALL: Reasons are many why taking over the Trojans program is a a great opportunity as well as an overwhelming challenge.
usc will likely back up the truck with money to try to turn it into a plum job
