i really hope he comes to bama..we desperately need a 4 type player that is athletic like that

not to mention we have no recruits signed for this class so if we only signed him that would make me happy

I'm hoping stans being on the hot seat bites state in the butt and pushes pollard toward bama but i have zero inside info and have no clue how the stans situation affects him or his decision lol

it obviously never helps when you have turnover at head coach (although i really really really really hope he gets canned)

but i dont think pollard likes us because of stans, i think he likes us as a school

i dont have inside info (as in talking to pollard himself) but i am about 20 miles from where he lives and i know tons of people in dekalb and kemper county as a whole and i still feel good about it

I suspect he is like most kids in his position and looking to play at least as much 3 as 4 in college, if not more. Texas has a lot of 4s and 5s (if Ridley signs), and really, really, would love Pollard as a 3. Probably tougher for Texas to get him, being so much farther away, but they are hoping in Austin.

no doubt...I feel like anthony grant is just starting to turn the corner for us with signing last years class and having back to back pretty successful seasons so i would really like to bring in a big time player like him that we need..we are only losing 1 senior and have 5 freshman who played good significant minutes so the future is bright but if we miss on pollard i'm hoping next years class is strong which i think it will be

Msudawg12 i agree with you as well...having friends and family close at MSU would be tough to turn away and, like you said, obviously stans being at MSU isn't the only thing Pollard loves about MSU lol.

  • lefty,

you are right, grant will be successful before its all said and done i believe

he just needs more support and i think hes going to have a hard time getting it at bama to be perfectly honest

Not really sure what your talking about here, we've had good crowds the last two seasons. The support is fine and like most schools our fans show up when there is a good product on the floor.

    not what i meant

lets just say there is a pretty big sect that would rather him not be the coach

  • I think if Kentucky dials up their interest, they'll be a major player. But as of now, they haven't and I'm not sure why. Pollard is tailor-made for what the Wildcats do offensively.
