Indifferent on LBJ, but I used to love Wade. The past season annoys me in the sense that he is a bit dirty and then whines way too much when the shoe is on the other foot. Don't care for Riley or his puppet either.

All right, serious question here about Kobe Bryant. Can a team succeed with him on the roster at this point in his career, given his salary? His contract calls for $58 million over the next two years. That is double the norm of the first year of a max contract and 50% of what the salary cap allows. While he can still light it up on occasion like last night, he is a volume shooter of decreasing efficiency. Without getting into the essentially unknown effect that his fingerpointing has on team morale, I can't see how a team can now build a championship lineup around him at his salary.

Over/under for Pittman suspension for the clobbering of Lance Stephenson? No history for Pittman, but that was a completely ridiculous attack at the end of a blowout.

Sorry, no it is highly unlikely they can compete for the trial. I just meant that essentially the Lakers hands are tied by the fanbase based on Bynum's inconsistent play. They have to have a superstar to sell tickets.

And I was being dense in not seeing that you were logically following where I was going with the rhetorical question.
Oh, well, Shaq decided not to do it, anyway. I wonder if he would have been any better than Isaiah Thomas. I hope so, but with zero front office experience, Shaq could have been a complete disaster as a GM.
