Andy Katz reporting that junior guard Jared Cunningham out of Oregon State will 'test' the NBA waters. Katz says he will bypass the NCAA deadline which is April 10th and try and gather enough info from NBA teams and then declare on the NBA deadline which is April 29th.
Cunningham was a great on-ball defender and a scorer who was at his best in transition. Personally from covering the Pac-12 the last two seasons he will struggle at the NBA level. Isn't even 200 pounds and is 6-foot-3 but isn't a point guard. He needs to bulk up, improve on his ball handling and passing, and improve on his ball-strength before he gets drafted in the first round.
