meh, not that big a deal. don't know why everyone is freaking out about scoring for sec teams.
looking at the bigten, big east and acc, their average ppg aren't much, if any, different from the sec. (note that i'm not saying the sec is on par with those conferences).
the sec averaged about 68 ppg as a whole this year. other conferences are in the same 65-70 ppg range. and if you consider that the nba plays 20 minutes longer/game, if you add another 30-35 ppg it's right up there with the nba average ppg as well, who averages somewhere in the mid/high 90's.
