Top Basketball teams next year.....

  • Who will be them?

    UNC starts Paige, Hairston, R.Bullock, JMMcAdoo (superstar), Joel James. Two freshmen though, Middle three are E-lite.

    I think a fast riser will be Tennessee. Don't laugh. Golden, Richardson, McCrae, Maymonn, Stokes. A Sr, 3 Jrs, and a beast Sophomore who's really a freshman. That's a serious team. They have post depth and McBee on the wing shooting.

    Duke could be good. Quinn, Curry, Dawkins, GBinije, Ryan Kelly. Marshall Plumlee as a RFr takes over his bros' legacy.

    Actually I've been reading the Ohio coach will be getting a strong look. That was before the tournament run. Their run probably hurts our chances.

    Yeah, NBAdraft.net has him 18th. He should go. Although if he comes back and is a star he could go top 10 next year.

  • Indiana is going to be loaded next year as long as Watford stays. They only person they are losing, who played significant minutes, is Verdell Jones. He didnt play much in the 2nd half of the season either. Put everyone coming back plus a top 5 recruiting class, means a solid team.

    The Big Ten is going to be loaded again next year. IU, MSU, UM, OSU, UW.

    *IF* we land Bennett, that's a front court of Pat Young, AB, Will Yeguete, Eric Murphy, Walter Pitchford, Cody Larson, Dillion Lawson and Casey Pranther. Not too shabby.

    I thought young was leaving. Yeguete is a solid hustler but small. Murphy is weak. The rest haven't done anything. Not trying to be a jerk but where is the strong center on that team. I should have put PF or Center my bad. I just think they could be exposed on defense by big guys. Their offense should be solid. Addition by subtraction with walker

    Re: OSU

    There is a chance OSU could have more attrition than they'd like, it all hinges on Deshaun Thomas, who wouldn't surprise people if he declared for the draft. If he stays hes probably top 2 on the BIG POY preseason favorites with Zeller (if he stays).

    IU is on the major upswing, as is UM. MSU and UW are about as consistent as you get.

    I operate under the assumption that if you're projected as a top 10 pick, you are leaving, even though that was proven wrong with extenuating circumstances last year.

    No offense taken. Solid assessment. Young is coming back. WY is undersized but hustles and plays great D. He's also an offensive liability. Murphy actually surprised me with his shot blocking, D and rebounding. He's a 4 that can stretch the floor. P. Young has to figure it out between the ears to reach his potential but he improved from year one to year two. AB will be an immediate impact player on both ends of the court. Larson and WP are unknown 4 year players.

    I'm no bball guru so that's all I can come up with.
