What player from your team are you looking forward to seeing?

  • Obviously Beal is the one I am looking forward to most. I am also interested to see what kind of jump our freshmen from last year can make. Also hoping Mike Rosario can add some scoring.

    Aussie

  • Im ready to see trevor lacey of course but also ready to see the improvement of trevor releford and tony mitchell.

agreed Really can't wait to see how much of an improvement Releford has made from year one to two. As far as freshmen go, Trevor Lacy (duh.)

  • Most other Ohio State fans are most interested in seeing Jared Sullinger improved since last season. But I on the other hand am very interested in the improvement of DeShaun Thomas cause I think he will be depended on a lot for scoring from the wing to open up the paint for big Sully.

Beware of leaving Gilchrist off your list, though! That kid is damn good. For all we know, he could be the SEC POY. So could Beal, for that matter.

I don't mind at all leaving Gilchrist off my list, though I know he is said to be very good:

    1. It is my list and that was the question, who are you interested in seeing and while you turned it into an SEC Frosh team, I turned it into which SEC Frosh I was most interested in seeing.

    2. Gilchrist is pretty similar to Lamb and with a years experience, Lamb may well get more of the shots.

  • At Mississippi State I'm looking forward to seeing 5 Star Freshman Rodney a 6'8" guard who's game resembles Jalen Rose (he is even a lefty) I am also looking forward to UTEP transfer Arnett Moultrie a 6'11" Forward who is very talented.

If they mesh well with Dee Bost and Renardo Sidney, we should have a solid year.

Yancy is like kudzu. You hate it, can't kill it, and is virtually worthless!

Appreciate it. Im a HUGE College basketball fan, probably bigger than college football.

In other Mississippi State basketball news we are bringing in a European import from Latvia who is very talented his name is Kristers Ziedaks who is a 6'8" SF that I think is going to be a solid player for us this year.

Ive always been a fan of Indiana basketball and hope this is the year Coach Crean gets things turned around up there.

  • Gotta go with Nick Johnson on the recieving end of some sweet lobs from Josiah Turner from AZ. Tough call though as I am anxious to see the development of Solo Hill and Kevin Parrom. Also want to see what type of jump Jordin Mayes will make from his frosh year. Until he tweaked his foot in the tourney, he was money from 3 (not so much the FT stripe though).

Time to nut up or shut up

  • Arnette Moultrie at MSU.

  • Lacey will get plenty of opportunities to score. Bama will need someone at the two to hit the three. Charvez Davis shot 205 three's last year and he is gone. If Lacey comes in and provides an impact, watch out SEC!

  • For MSU I'm really looking forward to seeing Russell Byrd.

Kid is supposedly a lights out shooter who has been hit with the injury bug the past 1.5 yrs. He may be the surprise of this years team if he can get some PT.

  • For UF, I'm most looking forward to seeing the development of Patrick Young from last year to this year.

I'm excited about Beal, but with Erv Walker, Kenny Boynton, Scottie Wilbekin, Mike Rosario, and Brad Beal, we'll be more loaded than anyone else nationally. If for whatever reason Brad takes a little time to adjust, we'll be fine.

We absolutely MUST have Young take the next step in his game if we want to make another deep tourney run. We also need an Eric Murphy or Will Yeagette to step up, along with Casey Prather.

To answer the question, it's Young for UF..

I'm anxious to see the dynamic of all those studs at UK looking to play and leave early. I know it must be exciting for UK fans to have these great classes every year, but it's an unproven method as Cal has never won a title. He needs to mix in program players, with one or two and dones imo. That team last year was what it was because of the good mix they had of older and younger players.. They don't have that this year.

Always knew Grant would do great things when he left UF's staff. Curious to see if Bama can really take over in the west, and compete with the best in the East.
