    We are never all going to agree with the rankings. Steve Wiltfong just saw most of these guys at The Opening, so he has eyeballed them in the last month and has a pretty good idea.

    That is my point of contention. Steve saw the guys at the Opening so if they WERE NOT there then they are downgraded or overlooked. Sorry but a guy like Elmer is not below Lancaster on the OL and for sure not below Tillman. Anyways, yes people will always disagree about rankings. The reality these observations by Steve are all 7v7 athlete type camps so let's see when the pads are on what happens. Morris might be the left handed version of Jeff George (or Chad Henne) but what did those guys ever win?

  • First reaction is to be disappointed we're not in play for more of these top-rated guys. But, it's hard to argue with the success our staff has had in spotting and developing talent. Also shows how ridiculous all these rankings really are. As the old saying goes - opinions are like assholes, everyone has one.

  • I love how almost every Bucknut here seems to be declaring that Taco and Tillman will be unsuccessful. If you'd all like to point me in the direction of the store where you got your magic crystal balls that can predict the future, I'd appreciate it.

    Seriously, it's a fact that there'll be a number of busts in both OSU and Michigan's classes, but we have no idea who they'll be. Is there a possibility Taco and Tillman bust? Sure. Is there a possibility Cam Burrows and Jalin Marshall bust? Absolutely. Do any of us know what'll happen? Absolutely not.

    People get so damn heated over lists like this for no good reason whatsoever.

  • Morris is way over rated. Didn't perform well enough in the Elite 11 because he could process reads well. I don't care how strong his arm is either. The kids barely completed over 50% of his passes and his yards and few TD's. I get it if he was a dual threat, but not the 2nd best in the country.
