Well instead of crying about it how about you just ask the questions. I have had a lot of questions on OSU go unanswered during these chats in the past. Don't get all butthurt because you didn't get a couple extra "Go Spartys!" in there. Steve didn't deserve 1/2 the flak mentioned in this thread. I dont think the reaction would have been as bad on Bucknuts because the mods seem a bit more strict on what people post over there. Honestly I have been a member there for years and i have never seen anything like this before.

To me it seems like we got a lot of people who would still complain about the food even if the dinner was free...

The Big Ten Chat is a feature that I am very excited about. I think we all should be pumped for it!! After reading that first chat I have learned more about some of these other teams than I have on any ESPN article. I hope its something we can all embrace.

If it weren't for the comment about the last three years being disappointing for out basketball team, a period that includes two big ten titles and two final fours, I doubt this whole deal would have ever of came onto 99% of our posters radar. Most of them don't venture off the RCMB. That comment made it look, to Spartans, that he really didn't know what he was talking about. Couple that with the fact that 90% of the questions were about OSU, it really looked, to Spartans, that these chats were designed to be about OSU, and pump OSU. When the dual account was discovered, it appeared, to Spartans, to verify this feeling. Posters went ape s***. A few of them embarrassed themselves.
I'm a 247 Spartan, I signed on because the site was on this network. It's my impression that a lot of people on the RCMB do not like being a part of the 247 network. This incident did nothing to change their mind about it. I'm even convinced some of them thought if they raised enough fuss it would either convince our board owner to move the board, or it would get us kicked off, so they kicked it up a notch.
I personally would love it if there was a weekly chat we could take part in. I didn't even know about them until "the incident", But when the person running them appears to have an agenda, is willing to lie to the posters, and is willing to do some dishonest stuff to get the questions he wants to answer, what is the point?

Either way, this whole thing has driven way more attention to the chats then they probably ever had before, and I bet the next few will have more questions from all fan bases.

1) I am not a MSU fan.

2) Why ask questions that won't be answered, or will be answered in a condescending fashion?

3) Did you even read this thread? What have we said about Steve that is not true? If it is true, why does Steve deserve it? No one that is defending Steve is addressing the issues.
