    I think I remember you making a comment on a Big Ten Chat session that MSU likes to win 60 to 50 games and some MSU fan gave you a lot of grief and called you a Buckeye homer. 58 to 48 hummmmm? I thought I was tuning into a basketball on Saturday and a football game broke out. What a dismal game to watch. Plus we got the added bonus of see Ted "Mr Showboat" Valentine strut around the whole game. That's a treat! But you have to give Sparty a lot of credit, they played an excellent football game.

    Man, they got into OSU but good. It was a defensive struggle. OSU was terrible in the first half and even worse in the second. They just backed away from the challenge, it seemed. Good to see them bounce back and play closer to potential vs. Minnesota and also to see Matta use his bench a bit more.

  • Sully seemed to stay more composed vs Minny. Made a couple nice passes out of the double team to Burford for some good looks. 23pts on 11 shots is nice number as well.

    The team just looks a lot fresher down the strech of games when Matta gets some minutes from the bench. I think it will help down the road as well. Gonna need to be fresh for a big dance run.

    I was kinda of hoping to see a basketball game and not football on the hardwood. Its all good. I'm sure we will see another low scoring affair in spartyville in a couple weeks. Maybe the Bucks can return the favor and win by a safety this time. I'm thinking something like 42-40. Those basketball games are always fun to watch.

    WTF are you talking about? In the first half you outshot MSU on the free throw line 22 to 6 I believe. Your fans were bitching about getting calls all day but were getting them 4-1. If you'd come out on top you'd have the audacity to inform everyone unhappy with the outcome that "this is B1G basketball", it's a little more physical.
    While I agree letting a game get too physical disrupts the tempo, flow, and outcome in some cases, it's pretty consistent all year long and you guys got your fair share of calls.
