Interesting picks....and can't really argue with them, Steve. Be prepared for pitchforks for ranking the scUM bears ahead of OSU, but for now, it is arguably a good pick. The postings of scUM going 7-5 are kind of laughable as I look back on it, buy hey, debate is what this Forum is all about. I think the top 5 are a given this year -- after that, it is a crapshoot.

Again, lot of research involved here. Tried to keep it as up to date as possible. Please let me know if we have a name or something incorrect and we will fix it. And feel free to tell me what's right and what's wrong here.

I don't like Kiffin, but he sure can coach. Ten is too high for MSU...they'll have at least one loss before conference play starts. I don't see Iowa as a top 25 team, but their schedule is so damn easy they might move up as the season progresses. Thirteen might be a little high for Wisconsin, but the easy schedule will help. Michigan deserves the pre-season ranking, but it will be fun to watch them drop quickly with loses to Alabama and Notre Dame. This will be Notre Dame's and Brian Kelly's break out year with ten or possibly eleven wins against a tough schedule.

Really? Having OSU ranked is just wrong. USC was never ranked while under their sanctions, and righfully so. Any team that isn't elegible for a bowl should not be ranked, because you arent able to compete for anything other than pride.

How is Missouri not even in your top 37? You have Oklahoma State ranked 21st with a freshman QB, but Missouri isn't even in the top 37. Really?

How do you have Wisconsin below Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State. We always replace lineman and our defense will be better than last years defense by far. Yes we lost Wilson however if Danny OB returns to his freshman form when he was in a pro-style offense they will again be top notch. Losing Toon doesn't hurt as much considering he was injured often.
Michigan State lost more playmakers than Wisconsin did so how is it you have them ahead? Could say Cousins ment more to Mich. St. than Wilson did to Wisconsin!!!

But sir, Michigan isn't going to beat MSU or Nebraska this year... Therefore MSU will be rep'ing the Legends again. Rose Bowl Bound.

Michigan as the highest ranked B10 team is a complete joke. If Michigan is the ninth best team in college football this year, then this will be lowest year of college football in our lifetimes.

Because Missouri is about to get spanked in the SEC (just like Texas A&M).
