* It is possible that decisions could be announced before the season on the fates of head football coach Gene Chizik and athletics director Jay Jacobs, but it's just as possible, maybe even more likely, that nothing will be said until after the Iron Bowl on Nov. 24. President Jay Gogue has long held that coaches should be evaluated after their seasons. AD's, of course, have no season.
