Golden on radar from Tennessee to Nebraska

Al Golden has stated for the record he'd like to see things through at Miami. All of which is admirable and commendable, but is it smart? When Tennessee comes calling -- as it almost certainly will -- doesn't Golden owe it to his family and to himself to listen at least? Doesn't even have to be Tennessee. ... It could be Arkansas, where boosters are promising to break the bank. Or Texas, where the oilmen may have finally had enough of Mack Brown. What about Texas Tech, where athletic director Kirby Hocutt, the man who brought Golden from Temple to Coral Gables, could be looking to replace Tommy Tuberville? Or here's one for you: What about Nebraska, where former UM AD Shawn Eichhorst might prefer a less combustible coach than Bo Pelini?

No one should blame Al Golden if he decides to leave the Hurricanes

Miami coach should at least listen to suitors with so much uncertainty around the football program

Golden stated today his family absolutely loves living in south Florida. He loves the water as well. So I don't think he owes it to his family. Especially since they are enjoying the heck out of living in coral gables. He isn't going anywhere for a while.

I agree gocanes.... It's looking Golden in Miami for a while. Guy is a stud and loves the ocean (jersey shore guy) and a city life. So ixnay on ebraskanay!!

I don't have to go to a link to know what you're talking about. golden is a jersey guy through and through. There's a reason they call Miami, New York South. He's comfortable in that environment. He's not going to slander the other places, but he's not going to hillbilly tennessee, nebraska, university of manitoba or the ussr.

Christ, Bo is not going anywhere. Drop the Nebraska talk. The players love Bo and Eichorst is not going to get rid of any coach that Osborne hired for a long time unless he wants to relocate over seas.
