pickens has donated $400m to okst. knight has donated $240m to oregon, $105m to stanford, $100m to oregon health science university.

for athletics alone, it's $265m to $240m in favor of pickens. however, pickens number is a pledge based on a fund, and that fund lost an assload in 08/09, so it's nowhere close to $265m right now - he's discussed this pretty openly.

pickens also doesn't own nike, which funnels millions to oregon on knight's direction. now, pickens is fuggin awesome, and knight is kind of a prick, so i'm a big pickens fan.
