It would seem to me that Tennessee would have a problem with money in this coaching hire. I mean, they will have to pay Dooley and his crew, I am pretty sure that they have some kind of debt right now, and I know that they have some newer NCAA sanctions.
I am not sure on all of this, but I have a hard time seeing Tenn being able to pay around the 6 mil he wants and the 4-5 million he wants to hire his assistants. That coaching staff would have a salary that isn't too far off most NFL coaching staffs.
I know that Arkansas could probably make this happen a little more easily than Tenn, but I doubt it happens. I do not think he ever coaches anywhere in the college game.
Last, Gruden is not worth that much money, IMO. I believe that he is worth a pretty penny, but that type of money should be reserved for only proven, great coaches. Yes, Gruden had great success in the NFL and won a Super Bowl. However he has done NOTHING at the college level. I figure he would be a good coach, but there is no way he has earned that type of money, so I honestly hope we(Arkansas) do not give it him.

I am sorry, but Bob Stoops made a legacy at OU and will not leave for Tennessee. I hope I am wrong because he has been a thorn in our side for the past 10 years. We will be more than happy, if you guys can get him out of OU, but it will not happen.
