Program is stagnant. I think every coach, no matter how good, has a shelf-life at a school. Might be time for Beamer to think about that. Stinespring should be replaced.

I would imagine Frank will cosmetic change......His philosophy will not. His changes will not be great. By saying that maybe a new Oline coach would get something going. If Frank Shocks me then I will me much happy.

badly needed. having a consistency is great for a while. you never want new coaches every couple years. however at VT, we have had the same core for coaches for 20+ years. That means the same thoughts and ideas keeps getting recycled in an ever changing sport. they're still operating like it's 1995.

IMO, two, maybe three, will go. Of the remaning offensive coaches, some will get new assignments, thereby allowing for new OC, QB and OL coaches. Long overdue in the opinion of Hokie fans everywhere.

I was surprised to see them struggle so bad on offense, but they'll return 19/22 from their 2 deep on defense next year.
They also get a pretty sweet schedule in 2013:
OOC - Alabama (Atlanta), ECU, Marshall & Western Carolina
Home - BC. Maryland, Miami & UNC
Road - Duke, FSU, GT & UVA
If the Va. Tech coaching staff can't turn that into 9-3 then there should be some changes.

Beamer needs to retire. Bring in some fresh blood and VaTech is back on top in that division.

Do you mean , Hite? He's been "retired" you might say. But Frank Loves him on the Sidelines. Damn Joke Too. 3 that are suppose to be Offensive Coaches should be job hunting or Expect to be "retired" by Ole Frank their Daddy..

I just hope they hire some heart. I miss the Blue Collar days when the team played with heart. Lunch pail doesn't seem to be an honor anymore to carry
