We will be deleting any sarcastic posts (like David Stern will run for president) and the second time a poster does it, he/she will be blacklisted.
This board is for content and discussion and we want to keep that the focus. The Blue Board is for all of the other stuff.

Question.... Why don't you just set it to only allow staff and mods to create topics but allow all posters to reply but not post new topics?

Because mods don't like to fuel the rumors. They only break stories when they have the facts.

Just an idea... I just figured if they don't want topics like that you could do it the way I said. If there is a hot rumor going around that staff doesn't put up I'm sure a mod would. I think this board will have a lot of interaction with all the rumors though.

mods as in user mods. The staff is the one going to use this just like footballrumormill.com did.

What if I would like to share a hot rumor?
I would prefer not to have to PM the President to get permission. Anyway, this board is a great idea.
