The Skinny: For the third straight recruiting cycle, the Gamecocks have the state of South Carolina’s top prospect committed in Lexington’s Shaq Roland, who picked South Carolina in July over Alabama and a host of others. Four-star offensive tackle Brock Stadnik from North Carolina plans to enroll in January and could contribute on the Gamecocks’ offensive line early in his career. Four-stars Jody Fuller and Kwinton Smith join Roland to form one of the better receiver classes in the Southeastern Conference this cycle.
