247Sports looking to expand

With 50 college team site properties, 247Sports is looking to extend our reach even further over the next year and expand into college markets we currently don’t have a site for.

From Missouri to UT-Arlington, if you, publish a college team site or blog, operate a team specific message board (no original content necessary) or have experience covering recruiting for a school we don’t have a site for contact Pat Tholey at ptholey@247sports.com for more information.

Above is our current list of team sites in the 247Sports network. We are looking to add sites from every conference including Conference USA, MAC, Mountain West, Sun Belt and WAC. East Carolina and South Alabama were our first two sites outside of the major conferences to join and both sites have had tremendous success in their first year with 247Sports.

Recruiting Category: 247Sports is committed to being a major player in the ever-growing “Recruiting” category. 247Sports has one of the industry’s largest and most recognized national recruiting staffs. Our network of recruiting experts, littered with the “best of the best” from news outlets like Rivals, ESPN and Scout, allows us to combine breaking recruiting news and unbiased player and team rankings with our searchable player database, commitment lists and video highlights of top prospects. 247Sports is home to the industry-generated 247Composite. The 247Composite rating is a proprietary algorithm that compiles prospect "rankings" and "ratings" listed in the public domain by the major media recruiting services. It converts average industry ranks and ratings into a linear composite index. The 247Composite Rating is the industry's most comprehensive and unbiased prospect ranking and is also used to generate 247Sports' Team Recruiting Rankings.

4.) Mobile: 247Sports has led the way with mobile delivery in the team site and recruiting category. In December 2012, mobile accounted for 46.06% of total usage across the 247Sports network, with estimates exceeding greater mobile usage versus desktop by early 2014. In addition to innovative mobile technology powering the 247Sports network, editorial products are inspired by the demand for quick-hitting and easy-to-access social and editorial content.
