Bunte said he is 100-percent solid to Cal.
Sonny Dykes has wasted little time putting in his work at Cal in just a short time. Tonight the Bears landed a commitment from Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Mission Viejo offensive lineman Erik Bunte.
Bunte was committed to UCLA for more than nine months after recently going separate ways.
He wasted little time after the move and appears to be completely happy with his decision.
"I committed to Cal because the place felt right," Bunte said. "I loved Berkeley and it's an amazing campus at Cal. The education is top rate which also helped with my decision."
Bunte gave coach Dykes and his staff high marks after only a short time on the job.
"Coach (Sonny) Dykes is doing work already," he said. "He led the nation last year in points and ran one of the fastest offenses. He's coming in ready to go and win a championship and I want to be a part of that."
The four-star tackle said he considers himself 100-percent solid to Cal and won't be taking any other visits.
