Summer has come and gone and another season of Five-Star Basketball Camps is in the books. Some of the nation’s best players stopped in to work on their fundamentals, get high-caliber training from top college coaches and compete against some of the best players in prep basketball.

The full slate of Five-Star Basketball Camps has given us the opportunity to observe the very best players in the nation. Here are some names to watch out for with a return to the hardwood just weeks away.

The UM (FL) commit attacks the glass with tenacity. Developing offensively and athletically.

Midwest Region

Alonzo Verge Jr., 6'3 Willowbrook HS IL 2017

Interest: High Major player. Crown jewel in Chicago’s loaded 2017 class.

Info: Tremendous ball handler with a true understanding of changing tempo and direction. Outstanding scorer, had 42 points in two quarters at Five-Star Chicago Camp. Best point guard prospect out of Chicago since Derrick Rose.

Matt Moyer, 6'6 Lincoln H.S. Gahanna, OH 2016

Offers- Dayton Detroit Interest: West Virginia, Radford, Ohio, Akron, UNCG

Info: Great on the glass. Has a lot of Tim Duncan qualities to his game.

Nigel Robinson, 6’4 John Marshall HS (IN) 2015

Interest: All MVC, D1 Mid-Majors

Info: Shoots, defends, drives. Doesn’t have any gaps in his game. Complete player, has some of the qualities that we saw in former Five-Star standout, Dwyane Wade.

Armani Chaney, 5’10 St. Rita’s HS (IL) 2016

Interest: Developing D1 prospect

Info: Penetrating quick guard, that makes perimeter shots. Will play the point for the Chicago Catholic League Champs.

Zach Usher, 6’7 JFK Warren, OH (from Belize) 2015

Interest: D1

Info: Skilled forward, throwback player with hook shot, ability to use the glass. Does the little things – outlet passer, high IQ. Has chance to be first ever Division 1 player from Belize.


Hunter Noffsinger, 5-7 Muhlenberg H.S. (KY) 2015

Interest: Western Kentucky, High Point, Murray State, Belmont, Middle Tennessee

Info: General on the court, very efficient player. Drives, dishes and pulls up with the best of them.

Upside Prospect

Mohammed Albagmi, 6’3 Battle Creek Central (MI) 2014

Interest: D1/D2 including Grand Valley State.

Info: Athletic 2/3, shoots, penetrates, defends and leads.

Northeast Region

Tremont Waters, 5’10 2017 South Kent (CT)

Interest: High Major prospect. In the discussion of top point guards in the 2017 class nationally.

Info: Two-time Five-Star Camp Best Playmaker is the consummate point guard. Makes plays and makes the players around him better.

Christian Vital, 6’2 2016 Vermont Academy (VT)

Interest: Major Division One interest.

Info: Combo guard that shoots with range.

Aaron Falzon, 6-7 2015 Northfield Mount Herman (MA)

Offers: Boston College, Rutgers, URI, Providence, Towson, Georgia, Boston University

Info: Three-point specialist. Potential stretch four on the next level.

Robyn Missa, 6-9 2014 Long Island Lutheran (NY)

Interest: Impact Mid-D1 prospect
