Newman still on top in 2015

Guard Malik Newman maintained his stranglehold on the No. 1 spot in the 2015 rankings. There are two new prospects, however, in the top five of rankings.

Malik Newman has all the tools of an elite guard.

2015 Rankings

A high level athlete with a mature game, Newman is a lethal backcourt scorer who can also distribute the ball from the point guard position. No player in the 2015 class consistently controls a game at the level Newman does.

Behind Newman are the two best post prospects in the class- Cheick Diallo and Stephen Zimmerman. Diallo is raw offensively but has a skill base with plenty of potential. But it is his shot blocking, rebounding, transition game and strong motor which primarily give him his value.

At nearly 7-0, Zimmerman is a mobile big man with a strong basketball IQ and high skill level.

The two newcomers to the top five are guard Tyler Dorsey and Carlton Bragg. Like Newman, Dorsey is a big guard who can player either guard position. His game is marked by speed and strength with the basketball.

Bragg is a sharp shooting four man who also has athleticism and plays with some grit.

Rounding out the top ten are Ivan Rabb, Ben Simmons, Jaylen Brown, Charles Matthews and Skal Labissiere.
