Paul White lis a long forward with shooting range.
2014 power forward Paul White narrowed his list to five schools last month. The list consisted of Georgetown, Arizona, Connecticut, Minnesota and DePaul. On Tuesday night, White announced that he is now considering other schools beyond the aforementioned list.
“Coaches were still coming to my high school coach with interest so he was constantly suggesting to reopen it back up,” said White. “So my family decided that’s what we’ll do.”
White is rated as a 4-star with a rating of 97 overall by the 247 composite rankings. He is also rated as the fifth best player in the state of Illinois.
The 6-9, 195 pound forward will now visit Miami (FL) this weekend, along with his originally scheduled visits to Georgetown (Sept. 12), Connecticut (Sept. 27), Minnesota (Oct. 5) and DePaul (Oct. 26).
Right now, the Crystal Ball on White is 100 percent Georgetown, but only has two predictions. White put up big numbers in the Peach Jam in July before breaking his arm, ending his summer on the AAU circuit.
"That was such an unfortunate injury for White," said 247Sports Director of Basketball Scouting Jerry Meyer. "He was starting to hit his stride and was playing some good basketball in July."
