Dayton (Ohio) Centerville defensive end Tito Odenigbo has committed to Illinois.
The 6-foot-2 3/4, 259-pound Odenigbo also had offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Illinois, Akron and Bowling Green.
"It's almost like he's getting better by the minute," Centerville coach Ron Ullery said "It's not just his size that's getting better, everything is getting better. A real novice player as a sophomore, his junior year it kind of clicked on especially the second half of his junior season. He keeps getting better and better.
"I think he's going to be a three-technique guy. He plays inside for us and runs really well for an inside guy and moved good enough to play so some d-end for us. You put that type of athleticism inside, it's exceptional for how he moves.
"He's just learning the game and getting better and better all the time."
Odenigbo is the first commit for the Illini in the class-of-2014. He visited Champaign this past Saturday for junior day.
This past fall, Odenigbo had 25 tackles and four sacks. His older brother Ifeadi Odenigbo signed with Northwestern in the 2012 class.
Illini assistant Alex Golesh was the lead recruiter for Odenigbo.
